Tent TV Exclusive – @IAmKRSOne Lectures on Hip Hop For The Youth at the Roses That Grew From Concrete Event In Santa Ana (@SantaAnaUnidos)

The Teacha, KRS One came out and supported the at-risk youth of Santa Ana at the 1st Annual, The Roses that Grew From Concrete event presented by Santa Ana Unidos. The event was put on in an effort to bring awareness and solutions to the issues of reducing youth violence, increasing school attendance, increasing graduation rates, creating a school to school pipeline and to, prioritize community needs.

KRS One started off the day with a powerful lecture on Hip Hop culture and ended the night with a stellar performance of all of his classic hits that shows why he is such a heralded legend in Hip Hop. Check out the Teacher’s lecture up top.
