Detroit-based independent outfit DeepSlit Records has chosen Forreverbbyflex to turn the summer up from his native Fort Wayne, Indiana with his trippy “Waking Up” single.
The 20-year-old Indiana natives adds to the momentum he created with his 2021 ForeverBByGoat mixtape with his SoundCloud banger, produced by XANGANG beats.
“Waking Up” finds the 20-year-old powering up lyrically over the hazily thunderous SoundCloud era emulting production s he raps, “I’m getting high right now/Just riding round town/Smoking dope out the pound/Talk down and we gun’n you down/Feels like I been asleep the last two years/But, I’m waking up now.”
Foreverbbyflex has been hard at work all year, delivering his ForeverBByGoat mixtape earlier this year and applying pressure with visuals such as his recent “Case Closed” music video.
