Premiering on BlkDmnds, Max Gertler returns with his latest release “27”. This one is a self-produced track with the help of fellow beat-maker Linus, and does a great job at blending dark, lyrical rap with pop and trap. More than anything, it’s an insanely personal and honest piece of art that has Max opening up about his own drug usage verses that of his friends. While their focus is to relax, Max battles with using stimulants to his own advantage, but at a dire cost.
This one will live on his upcoming EP “Paper Route”, which is due out at the end of this month! Look for that and keep it locked for much more from the young emcee.
