Jeremy Torres is a Puerto Rican-American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends Latin, pop, rock, and island influences. Known for his catchy hooks and seamless musical versatility, he stands out as a dynamic force in Latin music and his charismatic stage presence enhances any performance he gives.
The Middletown, NY native chose music over college, writing and recording music prolifically. Wyclef Jean, Fugees Co-Founder, and GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, became interested in him, leading to collaborations and high-profile performances. In 2019, Jeremy & Wyclef performed the 1999 hit “Maria Maria,” (also produced by Wyclef) for Spotify Live Sessions. In 2021, Wyclef produced Jeremy’s solo debut album, Tiempos Como Estos.
Jeremy is setting the airwaves ablaze with his latest single, “Santa Monica.” I was ahead of myself, thinking it would be more of a Bachata track. After listening to it, “Santa Monica” combines the best of pop and Latin influences with a twang of 80s R&B, creating a musical journey that will captivate listeners worldwide. A remix of the single is also rumored to be in the works.
He is also the co-founder of Dianova Music with his brother Don “Chino” Torres and singer Jazzy Amra, with hits like “El Traguito” and “Obsesión (Remix)” which have been recognized by Billboard and People Magazine. With more exciting music on the way, Jeremy unleashed The Truth Is… in 2023, his first solo release from Starblaze Music Group.
